Privacy Policy

Last revised: March 2026

1. Local-first architecture

PDFSlim is built to process documents in the browser whenever possible. That means many common PDF actions can happen without sending your file to our servers.

Data collection

  • We do not ask you to upload documents for routine local processing flows.
  • We do not require a user account to use the core tool library.
  • We do not build a document history tied to your identity.

Advertising disclosure

We may use advertising services such as Google AdSense to keep the product free. Those services can use their own cookies or settings according to their policies.

Cookies and analytics

We use limited analytics and operational signals to understand site health and performance. We do not link that information to the document content you process locally.

How file handling works

PDFSlim is built around local browser processing for routine document tasks. In normal use, files are read in the browser, processed on the current device, and then cleared when the page is refreshed, closed, or the working session ends. We do not operate an upload queue for standard tool use.

Cookies and advertising

We may use cookies, consent tools, and advertising technology, including Google AdSense, to support the site. Those services may use their own cookies or similar technologies for ad delivery, measurement, and policy compliance according to their own privacy terms.
